Travis Kelce revealed his go-to method for lifting his spirits during a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast – listening to his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s music.
During Wednesday’s episode, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared with his brother Jason how Swift’s extensive discography helps him combat feelings of depression.
“She has something for everything,” Travis, 35, expressed.
The sentiment resonated with co-host Jason Kelce, who acknowledged Swift’s ability to connect with listeners across various emotional states.

Jason, 37, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles, admitted his own preference for melancholic country music when feeling down. “No matter how bad I’m feeling, there’s a country guy who is singing about it and feeling way worse for me, and that gives me joy,” the ESPN analyst shared.
Travis explained his approach to music, noting that his selections typically mirror his emotional state. He philosophically added, “The only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first.”
Since beginning their relationship in summer 2023, the three-time Super Bowl champion hasn’t shied away from expressing his appreciation for Swift’s music. During a June 2024 appearance on “Bussin’ With the Boys,” he named “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School” as his top three Swift songs.

More recently, he declared “The Tortured Poets Department” as his favorite Swift album, playfully acknowledging his bias due to being referenced in some of the tracks. He particularly enjoys “So High School” and “The Alchemy” from the 2024 release.
While the podcast episode didn’t feature additional discussion about Swift, 35, observers noticed Travis sporting familiar pieces from previous date nights – a blue Marni shirt from an October 2024 New York City outing, paired with a black Tribeca hat worn during another Manhattan date two months later.
