Trump supporters are planning counter-demonstrations at various Tesla dealerships this Saturday in response to the “Tesla Takedown Global Day of Action” protests targeting Elon Musk’s electric vehicle company.

The protests against Musk have been organized by Democratic politicians and progressive activists who oppose his involvement with DOGE, Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency focused on federal government reform.

In Columbus, Ohio, Trump supporters will gather at 4 p.m. at the Tesla dealership in Easton shopping district to counter the weekly permitted anti-Musk rally that typically draws 400-500 progressive protesters. Local law enforcement will be present to maintain order, with the dealership’s location on mall property serving as an additional deterrent to disruptive behavior.

According to NBC News, Trump supporters are coordinating counter-protests across multiple locations. Social media posts reveal plans for at least 10 counter-demonstrations, with some being branded as “Tesla Shield” events.

“He’s proven his record. I look up to him. Every person should look up to him,” said Terry Beck, a pro-Trump organizer in northern New Jersey who is arranging a pro-Tesla vehicle caravan. She noted that while the protests may be peaceful, she believes anti-Tesla demonstrators are complicit in recent vandalism incidents.

The protests come amid a wave of attacks on Tesla facilities nationwide. At least 11 locations have been targeted with various forms of vandalism, including incendiary devices, graffiti, and gunshots. Individual Tesla owners have also reported their vehicles being vandalized. The FBI has launched a task force to investigate these incidents, following Justice Department charges against three individuals.

Additional counter-protests are scheduled in Austin, Texas, where incendiary devices were recently discovered at a Tesla showroom, and in the Chicago suburban areas of Orland Park and Schaumburg, Illinois. In Arizona, counter-protesters are being called to demonstrate at Tesla dealerships in response to planned protests by Arizona Indivisible.

Laura Loomer is maintaining a Tesla Takedown WatchDOGE page on X platform, requesting video documentation of any violent incidents during the protests. The Tesla Takedown organizers have announced plans for 500 demonstrations at Tesla locations worldwide on March 29th, 2025.
