‘Squad’ Member Authored 9/11 Conspiracy Poem

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) came under considerable scrutiny after it was revealed he wrote poetry implying that the United States government carried out the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Washington and New York.

Bowman wrote the passages in his personal blog, which he ran between 2011 and 2024. One read “2001/Planes used as missiles/Target: The Twin Towers.” Later he wrote about the collapse of Building 7 at the World Trade Center site, which he followed with “Hmm…/Multiple explosions/Heard before/And during the collapse/Hmm…”

“Allegedly/Two other planes/The Pentagon/Pennsylvania/Hijacked by terrorist/Minimal damage done/Minimal debris found/Hmmm…” read the poem.

“We blamed Osama/Went to war in Iraq/Captured Saddam/Killed him. Bin Laden is Afghan/So we went to war there too,” he wrote.

This is not the first recent controversy for the socialist members of Congress. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is now under federal investigation for allegedly using taxpayer dollars to pay her husband to provide security, despite her support of the ‘Defund the Police’ movement.

Furthermore, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is facing calls to resign following a speech in which she told a Somali American crowd that she sought to have territories from neighboring countries added to Somalia. She said that she would defend her birth country’s interests over that of the United States.

Leaders calling for Omar to step down include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

“As Somalis, one day we will go after our missing territories,” she said in the Somali language.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also received criticism for her support of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) after it was discovered that the organization’s employees took part in the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 Israeli civilians.

This is also not the first recent controversy for Bowman, who received criticism for pulling a fire alarm during a House debate over a spending package last year.
