Biden Sends Taxpayer Money To UK LGBT Programs

During President Biden’s tenure, American taxpayer money was allocated to fund various diversity and LGBT programs in the United Kingdom, including support for transgender asylum seekers’ legal assistance.

The London Daily Telegraph uncovered that in October 2022, the U.S. State Department approved $25,000 in funding for “Rainbow Migration,” an organization dedicated to assisting “LGBTQI+ people” seeking asylum in Britain.

Further investigation revealed additional funding allocations, with $40,000 directed to the Edinburgh International Book Festival to support discussions centered on gender identity, inequality, and racial equity. Additionally, an Ohio university received $35,000 during the COVID-19 pandemic to develop UK-based exhibitions highlighting “LGBTQ+ stories.”

The Biden administration also reportedly channeled $14 million to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s think tank, the Tony Blair Institute, for humanitarian work across Africa and Lebanon.

These discoveries emerge as the Trump administration and the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) intensify their examination of previous foreign aid expenditures.

Recently, President Trump initiated the dissolution of USAID, the nation’s primary foreign aid agency, with plans to integrate certain operations into the State Department.

While USAID faced criticism for supporting progressive initiatives, such as promoting DEI in Serbian workplaces, The Telegraph reported that the State Department was primarily responsible for funding the identified British programs.

A State Department representative confirmed that under President Trump’s leadership, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has temporarily suspended all State Department and USAID-funded foreign assistance for review.

“We are reviewing all foreign assistance programmes to ensure they are efficient and consistent with US foreign policy under the America First agenda,” he added.

Reform UK’s Nigel Farage commented that these findings illustrated the Biden administration’s commitment to a “leftist, globalist, woke agenda to completely transform the Western world, to break down all the institutions that we believe in.”

Farage expressed optimism about Trump’s return to office, stating that “US taxpayer money will no longer poison British society.”

“This is massive societal and political interference that has been coming from America. And Trump’s going to kill it… we’re getting back to good, basic, sound principles,” Farage said.
