Ramaswamy Says Democrats Are Screwing The Poor
Vivek Ramaswamy stated on Wednesday during an appearance on “Fox News” that the Democratic Party is “screwing” over poor people, despite claiming to represent them.
On “The Ingraham Angle,” Ramaswamy depicted Democrats as being manipulated by a group of global elites, highlighting figures like Alex Soros, who recently hosted a fundraiser for Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz in Manhattan. He argued that this event illustrates the inappropriate political influence of wealthy individuals.

“So look, I have no objection to being a billionaire, speaking to somebody who has lived the American dream myself,” Ramaswamy told Laura Ingraham. “But what I do have an objection to is the kind of puppeteering that you see now in the Democratic Party. Look at those images of Alex Soros standing next to Tim Walz. Looks like if you squint really closely, you can even see the puppet master pulling the strings right there.”
He added, “That I think is the ultimate irony. The party that will tell the poor in this country that the rich people are screwing you over are indeed the very rich people who are speaking that message to people and deceiving them. What’s at stake here? It’s the status quo where effectively the people in power blow the woke smoke. They’ll tell you, give you your victimhood narratives for yourself. So they’re able to preserve greater power for their own interests.”
Ramaswamy also connected this issue to foreign policy, specifically criticizing the ongoing war in Ukraine. He echoed former President Donald Trump’s call for peace in the region, arguing that a “global establishment” seems eager to prolong the conflict.
“Nowhere do we see this more pronounced than in our foreign policy. I think this war in Ukraine does not best serve American interests and Donald Trump is right to want to bring peace to that conflict,” he continued. “Yet you do see a global establishment almost goading on the furtherance of that war in a way that doesn’t advance American interests. The climate change agenda is the same thing. It doesn’t help the United States.”
Since taking over from his father, George Soros, Alex Soros has reportedly directed millions into Democratic campaigns and abortion rights efforts through his Democracy PAC. According to campaign finance records, this PAC has spent approximately $40 million since the leadership transition, shifting its focus from criminal justice issues to directly supporting Democratic initiatives aimed at retaining the White House.
"It's a hard truth, so I'll just say it. Donald Trump is overperforming Senate candidates by double digits on the Republican side."
