Obama Appears To Lead Biden Offstage At Event

President Joe Biden appeared confused toward the close of a weekend political event, seemingly requiring aid from former President Barack Obama. Video of the event made rounds online, increasing concern about the president’s health and ability to lead.

Both Biden and Obama attended a fundraiser in Los Angeles this weekend. The fundraiser included a number of prominent Hollywood celebrities. The event reportedly brought in $28 million.

Toward the end of the event, Biden stands still and appears to be watching the crowd. Obama waved to the crowd before turning to Biden and reaching for his arm. Obama then helped bring the president off the stage.

The events over the weekend came after Biden appeared to be looking around during the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France earlier this month.

Polls have also shown increasing concern about Biden’s age and health. A May Rasmussen poll showed that 57% of the public believe that Biden has shown mental decline. Only 34% of the public disagreed.

This number that believed Biden was showing mental decline also included 49% of Black voters and 51% of Latino voters.

In addition, 33% of Democrats also agreed that Biden was showing signs of mental decline. The poll also indicated that 60% of the public believes that the media was covering up the extent of Biden’s decline.

Furthermore, the president has slipped or fell at a number of different events. Biden fell during the Air Force Academy graduation last year. He has also been caught on video slipping on the stairs to Air Force One.

The White House announced that the president has been wearing special shoes to prevent him from falling. The shoes appear to have larger soles to give the former better balance.

At 81, Biden is currently the oldest president in American history. Should he be elected to a second term and serve the entire four years, he would leave office at 86 years old.
