NYC Truck Boycott May End

The organizer of the movement to have truckers refuse to bring goods to and from New York City stated that it may not proceed, despite the initial concern over the treatment of former President Donald Trump.

The founder of the truck boycott idea, who goes by “Chicago Ray” deleted the initial video that started the movement. He said that he took down the Friday video because it went viral “and my Grandson seen it on Tik Tok.” He said that he fully supported the president “100%.” “Chicago Ray” said that he supported protest on behalf of the president.

He said that he was not the “leader of any movement… I’m my own man period.”

The driver concluded by writing “God Bless America, God Bless Trump and God bless every Truck driver in this country.”

The move came after a New York court found Trump liable for alleged fraud and fined him more than $350 million. The accusations were filed by New York Attorney General Tish James (D) and the ruling received considerable criticism from Republicans and conservatives.

Following the decision, “Chicago Ray” announced the start of the effort, which received considerable attention over the weekend, especially on social media.

Despite the newest statement, a number of truckers have already announced their support for a boycott of the Big Apple.

“Chicago Ray” wrote last week that his “advice for New Yorkers is start stocking up… there’s millions of Truckers for Trump millions of us.” He then called for New York to leave Trump “alone.”

A number of social media users supported the initial message, and some signed up for the idea of a boycott against New York City.

The movement to defend trump after the ruling by Judge Arthur Engoron also included an effort to pay for the $355 million fine through donations. One user created a GoFundMe effort called “Stand with Trump; Fund the $355M Unjust Judgment” that raised tens of thousands of dollars to help the real estate mogul pay for the judgment.
