MTG Quote About Matt Gaetz Proven False
Listen To Story Above
A recent controversy has emerged over alleged comments by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene regarding congressional resignations and Democratic control, though the claims have been proven false.
As Greene prepares to chair a House subcommittee on government spending, she’s announced plans to scrutinize various funding allocations, including what she describes as “sex apps in Malaysia,” according to The New York Post. Her oversight aims extend to National Public Radio and Pentagon funding as well.
MTG says if the House publishes an Ethics report on @mattgaetz to smear him, it should also release "all [the] sexual harassment and assault claims that were secretly settled… with taxpayer money." Suggests House has docs showing Epstein was an "asset"? https://t.co/ENCP4bOiut

Social media users recently circulated a post claiming Greene made controversial statements about Matt Gaetz and Democratic control of Congress. The viral post, featuring Greene in a black blouse seated in a leather chair, attributed a quote to her suggesting Democratic dominance if all members facing similar accusations as Gaetz were to resign.
However, this attribution has been debunked. No credible news sources have verified Greene making such statements, and her social media accounts show no record of these comments. The fabricated quote originated from a satirical account called Halfway Post, which explicitly states in its disclaimer: “Halfway true comedy and satire by @DashMacIntyre. I don’t report the facts, I improve them.”
This 30 Second Clip is EXACTLY why Matt Gaetz was forced to step down. RINO’s are in control

In reality, Greene’s actual response to the Gaetz situation involved threatening to expose harassment charges against other representatives when faced with calls to publicize Gaetz’s files.
This incident joins a series of viral misinformation, including a recently debunked claim about Donald Trump appointing Karl Malone to head Child Protective Services.
