Local Police WARNED the SECRET SERVICE There was not Enough Manpower

SECRET SERVICE was WARNED by Police

Authorities are still attempting to explain the security failure that allowed Trump to be shot.

According to a recent story, the Secret Service was notified by local police that there was insufficient police personnel to secure the building where the gunman subsequently opened fire on former President Donald Trump.

The latest material is being released at a time when lawmakers are pressing for further details regarding the security breach that resulted in the former president being shot.

“It is their way of passing the blame on local law enforcement,” they said.

According to Richard Goldinger, the district attorney for the area, the Secret Service “was informed that the local police department did not have manpower to assist with securing that building,” according to the Washington Post.

According to the story, a Secret Service source affirmed the assertion—but only under the condition of anonymity.

Goldinger had earlier declared that the federal agency was to fault for the inadequate security and accused the Secret Service of attempting to shift the burden onto local officials.

Goldinger previously told the Post, “Secret Service was in charge, so it was their responsibility to make sure that the venue and the surrounding area was secure.”

“I believe that to be common sense. That’s what they do,” Goldinger continued. “It seems to me that blaming local law enforcement is them passing the blame when they are the ones who should be taking it.”

In an interview on Tuesday, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle stated that the agency was duty-bound to defend the former president; yet, she declared she would not resign from her post.

“As the director of the Secret Service, I bear the ultimate responsibility. It’s something that shouldn’t happen again since it was unacceptable,” she stated.

The former president was hurt, one rally attendee was killed, and two more people were gravely injured before the accused shooter was shot and killed.
