VP Harris struggles to answer questions clearly

Kamala Harris’s recent media appearances have raised concerns about her ability to effectively communicate and handle impromptu questions. Despite facing relatively straightforward inquiries, the Vice President has struggled to provide clear and coherent responses, often veering off-topic or relying on pre-prepared talking points.

In a recent interview with NBC News’ Yamiche Alcindor, Harris demonstrated a lack of understanding regarding executive orders and their limitations. When asked about her first executive action, she responded with “Bringing down the cost of living,” which is not within the scope of an executive order. This response also raised questions about why such action hadn’t been taken during her four years in office, given the rising prices.

Harris’s inability to address criticism of President Biden’s comments about Trump supporters further highlighted her reliance on scripted responses. When questioned about Biden’s controversial remarks, she deflected by stating, “The president explained what he meant,” avoiding direct engagement with the issue.

The Vice President’s performances in local media interviews have been equally problematic. In one instance, she responded to questions with an emotional outburst, describing President Trump as “dangerous and unfit and increasingly unstable and unhinged.” This display of strong emotion has been interpreted by some as a sign of a faltering campaign.

These incidents have led to growing concerns about Harris’s readiness for higher office and her ability to effectively represent the administration’s policies. Critics argue that her struggles with off-the-cuff responses and tendency to rely on pre-prepared statements underscore a lack of depth in understanding complex policy issues.

As the election approaches, Harris’s performance in media appearances and her ability to articulate clear policy positions will likely continue to be closely scrutinized by both supporters and opponents alike.
