President Donald Trump extended an olive branch to Iran through a diplomatic letter, expressing his desire to engage in nuclear negotiations. The communication was directed at Iran’s leadership, with reports suggesting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as the intended recipient.
During a televised conversation with Fox Business Network on Friday, Trump elaborated on his diplomatic outreach. “I said I hope you’re going to negotiate, because it’s going to be a lot better for Iran,” Trump said in the interview with Fox Business Network broadcast Friday.

The President emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, “I think they want to get that diplomatic letter. The other alternative is we have to do something, because you can’t let another nuclear weapon.”
When asked to confirm whether the letter was specifically addressed to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the White House did not provide an immediate response.
Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continued on other fronts, as Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov engaged in discussions with Iranian ambassador Kazem Jalali regarding international initiatives to address Iran’s nuclear program, according to an announcement from the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday.
