Trump Receives Warm Welcome At UFC Event

Former President Donald Trump received a warm welcome during an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event this week. The former president’s appearance at the Miami UFC event follows a similar hero’s welcome for the president at a previous fight.

The former president and members of his family appeared unannounced at the Saturday event alongside UFC President Dana White. Trump had excellent seats and received considerable attention when he entered the room.

The president’s decision came after a rally in Georgia, which also saw Trump receive large rounds of applause.

“It’s the closest thing I can see really reflective of the election process that we have in this country, the UFC fights. That may be a little tamer than the election business,” Trump said.

Trump attended the UFC 296 event in Las Vegas Last December alongside singer Kid Rock and was well-received. Trump went to four UFC fights last year.

The event saw Sean O’Malley win the Bantamweight fight against Marlon Vera.

Trump was joined by a number of celebrities, including Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. The former president was joined by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa.

The stars spoke with the former president in a video posted by retired linebacker William Compton. The players posed with the former president for a photograph. Bosa has previously posted a number of posts on social media supporting the former president and criticizing former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The former president has emerged as a key supporter of the UFC, including a personal friendship with White. The UFC head also supported Trump in his reelection bid, praising his efforts as president.

Trump has received considerable support from the fans during his appearances. He also attended several major sporting events over the last year, including attending the Palmetto Bowl game in South Carolina last November. He was a three-sport athlete during his time at the New York Military Academy, including one year on its football team.
