Hunter Biden Attorneys Claim Sawdust Mistaken For Cocaine

Attorneys for Hunter Biden said that their client was falsely accused of being involved with cocaine, claiming that a substance found by investigators was actually sawdust. The statement came as the president’s son was facing two sets of federal charges linked to taxes and firearms.

The First Son’s attorneys alleged that a photo released by federal investigators that appears to show cocaine was actually sawdust.

Hunter Biden’s attorneys Abbe Lowell and Bartholomew Dalton accused special counsel David Weiss’ team of not being open about the potential evidence against their client “so that he can prepare for and receive a fair trial.”

The lawyers used a statement from Hunter Biden’s former psychiatrist claiming that the photo showed “lines of sawdust sent to me by a master carpenter who was a coke addict” in an effort “to convey that Mr. Biden, too, could overcome any addiction.”

The photo appears to also show related drug paraphernalia.

Despite the efforts by Hunter Biden’s legal team, many Republicans are still concerned about his alleged extensive business deals. The topic came up during an interview of former President Donald Trump this week, who cited the millions the Biden family allegedly made.

The former president said that Biden himself made some of the cash from the Hunter Biden-linked businesses.

Trump told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that the president has “got a lot of houses all over the place,” citing his relatively low salary in public office.

Trump said that Biden received “a lot of money. Hunter’s gotten a lot of money. Hunter gets millions of dollars just for sitting on a board, an energy board and he admits that he knows nothing about energy.”

The president has officially denied being involved in any of Hunter Biden’s businesses. The president, however, was allgedly part of several phone conversations involving his son and his business contacts.

Furthermore, Republican investigators in the House of Representatives claim that the president received significant money in the form of checks from his brother James Biden labeled “loan repayment.”
