Cruz Says Biden MAY RESIGN
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) expressed this week that he believes there is a strong possibility that President Joe Biden may step down before the upcoming fall elections.
Cruz shared these thoughts on the latest episode of his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson, noting that he had predicted a year ago that Democrats might replace Biden before the election.
“So, I’m going to make another prediction, and it’s not one that I want to have happen,” Cruz said. “I’m going to put the odds at 40% that Joe Biden resigns between now and Election Day. I think there are going to be very serious discussions in the White House by all the partisans whose paycheck is written by continuing the regime. Everyone who stays in power is going to say, you know, if you say your health has reached a point that you need to step aside.”
The GOP lawmaker’s decision comes after he made a similar prediction last September that Democrats were going to force Biden out of the presidential race this August. While the prediction panned out, it missed the predicted date by a few weeks.

The lawmakers also incorrectly predicted that the Democratic Party would make former First Lady Michelle Obama the 2024 nominee. Harris has since cemented her place as the Democratic Party nominee since Joe Biden stepped down last month.

Cruz suggested that if Biden were to announce he’s not seeking re-election, Democrats would elevate him to a near-heroic status, saying they would “immediately start carving him on Rushmore, figuratively speaking, the Rushmore of socialists.”
“Joe Biden would permanently, look, he aspires to be the next FDR,” he said. “And part of how Democrats would get him to step down is by saying, ‘By doing this, you’re the next FDR; by doing this, you’re George Washington, stepping down … You’re demonstrating the ultimate statesmen principle.’”
