Biden Government Spends Billions Helping Migrants Enter America
Listen To Story Above
During a Thursday night appearance on Laura Ingraham’s show, Center for Immigration Studies’ Todd Bensman revealed ongoing multi-billion dollar government expenditures supporting illegal migrants traveling to the U.S. southern border from Central and South America.
Bensman detailed how more than 200 United Nations agencies and numerous non-governmental organizations have received billions in funding, primarily from U.S. taxpayers, to facilitate mass migration toward America’s southern border.
Looking ahead, these organizations have already outlined their spending plans, allocating $1.4 billion for 2025 to support approximately 2.3 million foreign nationals across 17 Latin American countries.

The migration support system, as Bensman explained, involves a tight partnership between the Biden-Harris State Department and an extensive network of 230 NGOs and 15 UN agencies. This coalition has already deployed roughly $6 billion over the past four to five years to assist migrants journeying toward the U.S. border.
“This has been going on for four or five years straight now, at least $6 billion, a very close collaborative partnership between the Biden-Harris State Department and those 230 NGOs and 15 UN agencies to send hundreds of millions of US tax dollars to migrants on the trail, helping to sustain them in their northward track to the United States border, they know exactly what they’re doing.”
Despite Trump’s electoral victory, these organizations remain committed to their financial support plans, suggesting a potential strategy to maintain pressure on the southern border and possibly challenge the incoming administration.

When pressed by Ingraham about the specific organizations involved, Bensman identified several major religious groups: “All the major religious groups are represented here. You’ve got HIAS, you’ve got Caritas, you’ve got the Lutherans, you’ve got the Seventh Day Adventists, you’ve got international relief agencies, the Red Cross. There’s 230 of them, and they’re all listed in the RMRP online.”
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) stand as the primary funding sources, with significant contributions from the U.S. State Department – a situation Bensman suggests requires immediate attention from the incoming administration.
